Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support regarding applications and troubleshooting to the customer via phone and e-mail
  • Play a key role in laboratory functions such as DNA extraction, RNA extraction, and other downstream processes
  • Attend national tradeshows to assist the sales team with technical questions
  • Coordinate national tradeshow literature, booth selection, and booth shipping
  • Develop and provide technical training and materials for customers and team members
  • Create technical application notes and posters in conjunction with the marketing department
  • Assist sales team by providing a high level of technical proficiency in pre-sales support
  • Develop a knowledge base through accurate documentation and reporting of product failures
  • Follow established company SOP and ISO 9001: 2008 Guidelines
Qualifications
  • BS degree in life science area, or equivalent work experience.
  • 3 years laboratory experience with molecular biology
  • Must have a firm understanding of and experience within the life science research marketplace
  • Be a proactive individual, as well as have solid communication, organization, and time-management skills
  • Must demonstrate excellent organizational skills and ability to manage large amount of technical data and documentation
  • Ability to design experiments, run tests, analyze and interpret data, troubleshoot
  • Experience or knowledge of workflows with DNA & RNA extraction, PCR qPCR, microarrays and NGS
  • Proficiency with standard computer software, as well as common molecular biology computational tools
Job description Responsibilities
  • Works independently or within group to design and perform experiments to properly execute management initiatives
  • Troubleshoots experimental results from laboratory technicians
  • Properly documents laboratory tests and results
  • Play a key role in department goals and project deadlines being met
  • Ensures that all company, industry, state, federal safety standards are being followed including OSHA, EPA, and waste management
  • Develop experimental plans to properly improve or achieve desired results
  • Help train laboratory technicians
  • Interact with senior laboratory personnel to review progress and present results
  • Ensure laboratory is clean and equipment is being properly maintained.
  • Developing, optimizing and performing assays for qPCR, PCR, and NGS applications
  • Revise and update SOPs, as directed by manager
  • Follow established company SOP and ISO 9001: 2008 Guidelines
Qualifications
  • MS or PhD degree in a life science area
  • 3+ years post-degree molecular biology laboratory experience required. 5+ years with MS.
  • Solid communication, organizational, and time-management skills
  • Most demonstrate excellent organizational skill and ability to manage large amount of technical data and documentation
  • Experience with DNA & RNA extraction, PCR, and qPCR. Preferred experience with Next Generation Sequencing workflows
  • Proficiency with standard computer software

An entry-level position within the Production Department. Responsibilities include filling, labeling, and processing products following the appropriate documentation. Additional tasks include staging raw materials, cleaning laboratory hardware, documenting production lots, and supporting the department where ever assistance is needed.

Job Responsibilties:

  • Processing production orders from start to completion
  • Dispensing liquids containing chemicals using good laboratory practices
  • Operating an assortment of semi-automated and manual filling equipment
  • Completing all required documentation for proper traceability of a production lot per ISO 9001 guidelines
  • Follow company, industry, state, and federal safety standards
  • Sorting and packaging of components
  • Labeling containers according to company/regulatory practices
  • Operating a variety of basic lab equipment

Requirements:

  • Associates or Bachelors degree in one of the biological or physical sciences preferred
  • Ability to lift 30 lbs
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Able to obtain respirator and OSHA certifications upon hire
  • Strong attention to detail
