The Mag-Bind® Endo-Free Plasmid Midi and Mini Kits apply a modified alkaline lysis procedure to generate a bacterial lysate that can be clarified using lysate clearance beads (Mag-Bind® Particles LC). This bead-based clearance facilitates fully automated purification starting from the bacterial pellet. Compatible with various open liquid handling systems and magnetic processors—including Omega Bio-tek’s MagBinder® Fit24 platform—these kits enable researchers to obtain endotoxin-free plasmid DNA without requiring additional centrifugation steps, saving both time and resources.

For smaller-scale applications, the Mag-Bind® Endo-Free Plasmid Mini Kit (M1261) effectively extracts plasmids from as little as 1.5 mL of overnight bacterial culture cultivated in LB, TB, or other suitable media.
